Bloggers Who Brunch
Sundays are for mimosas and chisme, and this Sunday the blogger community BloggingSATX took over “The Rustic” in San Antonio to brunch and munch. After much consideration I decided to order the “Family Style” brunch which in my opinion is perfect for one person and it’s got a little bit of everything. I am glad that I got that cause some of my friends ordered single items and they looked like miniature food.. Very tasty but not enough to fill you up. The weather was also on our favor with a sunny sky, something nice for a change from this cold winter days. The conversations were all so pleasant and…

The 2019 Trend report is here and you need to see these looks
Florals, metallics, color blocking and neons are all the rage for Spring 2019 and below are some of the most beautiful looks of last night’s fashion show at Neiman Marcus that you will want to draw inspiration from! For this event I wore a floral blazer from Banana Republic with some pleather pants that I love cause of the long inseam, and if you follow me on social media you have seen me struggle with pants always being too short on me so I am really happy to have found these, and last but not least some classic leather booties which are surprisingly very comfy to walk in despite the…

Pokēworks Opens Franchise in San Antonio, TX
As a poke lover I couldn’t miss the opportunity to go to Pokeworks grand opening this Saturday where I got to try the famous chain that started in New York as well as meet the amazing Sapien family who owns and operates this San Antonio franchise. Attendees enjoyed a BOGO deal going on all day and free coconuts branded with their logo for this event, I decided to build my own poke bowl which consisted of: white rice, chicken, crab salad, jalapeños, edamame, sesame seeds cucumber, ponzu sauce, spicy mayo and my favorite topping; the fried lotus flowers that were just so unique and flavorful! There is also a gourmet…

Painting my Denim Jacket
As I was planning my trip to Houston for the Hailey Kiyoko Concert I was wondering what I should wear for it. I love making custom pieces that are related to the concert or festival that I am going to, so that’s when I thought about painting a denim jacket and wearing it at the concert. Going to concerts is one of my favorite things to do, jumping in unison with the sound of music, sweating and yelling out the lyrics to my favorites songs while they are being performed on stage is an amazing feeling. I have a tradition that every-time I go to a concert I have to…

Multi-cultural Food Truck Heaven
Every day I pass this really cute Food Truck Park on my way to and from work, I have been wanting to try it for a while now but I am usually in a hurry and I just do the typical rubbernecking thing, craning my neck in order to get a better view of Park at the Point which is what the food truck park is called and telling myself that one day I am gonna stop by and find out what its all about. So one day I was feeling too lazy to cook and me and Yvonne decided to go out for dinner so she suggested this place and we…

Lunch in Houston
I got to enjoy some delicious lunch at Postino in my most recent Houston trip. Yvonne and I got a recommendation from her cousins that we should go to Postino Wine Cafe and I have to say that I will be forever thankful for it! We got the classic bruschetta, the artichoke, brie & apple and the tomato & mozzarella. I got a salad and chicken salad as well as a cucumber mint drink. I fell in love with this restaurant cause it is so modern yet cozy, its great for a chill hangout spot with the girls! And I also loved the area it was in which is called…

I’m Straightening my teeth!
I used to wear braces when I was little, and as soon as I took them off I got a retainer to keep my teeth nice and aligned but of course I ended up losing it and never getting a new one so that resulted in my front teeth getting crooked, and even-though it’s not extremely noticeable it really started bothering me lately. So I started looking into invisible aligners and most of them were way too expensive for me and that’s when I found out about Smile Direct Club. I went to my free consultation here in San Antonio and they were very helpful and informative, I got a 3D…

Trying a new peel off mask
I just received a peel off mask in the mail from an Influenster Vox Box and I couldn’t wait to try it, so I had to run home and wash my face to put it on. I have tried other peel off masks in the past and I have to say that my favorite part about this one which is the Boscia mask is the texture..It is a thick and rich gel which is wonderful since you don’t have to apply it and let dry multiple times. I only had to apply one thick layer and wait about 30 minutes for it to dry to be able to peel it…

Stripes are always IN!
One of my favorite trends right now are blue and white vertical stripes everything, and I mean everything! To be fair I believe that stripes are always in, wether it’s vertical, black and white, red and black Freddy Krueger type of stripes they are always present in fashion.. I am wearing a Catherine striped blouse with oversized sleeves, which are also #trending right now, a Salvatore Ferragamo cross body bag, some Michael Kors booties, and obviously my forever favorite Zara black leggings! Please comment, subscribe and share if you enjoy this post and stay tuned for…
