Why Choose Between Pretty And Smart When You Can Be Both?

I’ve always been very interested in technology, fashion, and art. My earliest memories are painting, wearing my mom’s makeup and accessories or memorizing HTML codes to pimp out my myspace page.

Choosing one of my passions and acting a certain way because of it never came to mind. However, society likes to label us and put us in boxes.

Why should we choose between pretty and smart? If I was modeling or blogging people would assume I was an airhead, but if I talked about technology they would be surprised at the fact that “I was actually smart.” Is that even a compliment? 

I took my hobbies to the next level by creating a blog to share fashion and beauty tips while working a full-time job developing websites and creating content as a graphic designer.

I always strive to learn something new, that’s why I am taking an 8-week web developing course at Tech Talent South to strengthen my coding skills. 

The campus is located at the Venture X workspace. The next course starts on September 9th with the option to do a Full-time schedule (Mon-Thursday 8:00 am-12:30 pm) or Part-time (Tuesday and Thursday 5:00pm-9: 00 pm)

It fills me with joy to do what I love. Don’t let people tell you you can’t be both beautiful and smart, or that you can’t be a model and a web developer because it is possible. Remember to follow your passions regardless of what people think, be yourself and embrace your uniqueness!
