Welcome to my  website!

My name is Vanessa and I am a lifestyle blogger, model and proud mommy of a Frenchie called Nacho.

I was originally born in Mexico City, but I must have the soul of a wanderer because I’ve lived everywhere from Miami and Los Angeles to good ol’ Texas. I also love to travel whenever I get the opportunity — the destination doesn’t matter as long as I get to experience new sights and sensations along the way!

I am very curious and driven by my love of learning new things. In fact, I’m currently in the process of learning how to relax… if only there were more than 24 hours in a day! Never truly content with just being a spectator, I’m always eager to explore new territory and make new things happen in my life, whether that involves taking on interesting projects or dedicating myself to volunteering. I know that taking risks is a scary but necessary part of growing as an an individual, so I am more than willing to do so if it means I can inspire just one other person.

I have been drawn to modeling since I was 17 years old, and that passion has taken me on more adventures than I ever could have imagined. From participating in New York Fashion Week to working for household names like Betsey Johnson, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, and Vogue magazine, modeling has given me more than a few once-in-a-lifetime opportunities and I am grateful for each and every one!

In the past year, I have also branched out to work in marketing, where I have honed my skills in graphic design and coding websites. While it’s certainly a different direction from modeling, I’ve learned that the discipline and focus needed to walk a runway are similar to what it takes to teach yourself the skills you need to compete in a new industry.

In my (very rare) spare time, I can usually be found painting, dancing, taking care of my garden, spending time with friends, or exploring nature. I also have a bit of a goofy side and am notorious among my friends for being a little clumsy, especially after a margarita or two… a girl’s gotta unwind somehow! Most of all, I take pleasure in the simple and beautiful things that life has to offer.
